This article will help guide you through the process of setting up the VPN client on your personal computer.

Installing the VPN software
It is only a few steps to configure the connection. First, download and install the client.
If you don’t see the View Downloads button, you may need to scroll down.
Please go to the following link: https://www.checkpoint.com/products/remote-access-vpn/
Click the View Downloads button
Select the MacOS version
Download and run the installer
Click Next until presented with the option for Endpoint Security VPN, select it and click Next
Accept the License Agreement, click Next
Click Install
, open the Endpoint_Security_VPN package when prompted. When prompted, choose Continue to work your way through the installer
Setting up the VPN connection

Connecting to the VPN

If you are currently on campus, vpn.felician.edu will not resolve. These instructions are intended for use at home or on a personal computer. |
Click the lock icon, then select Connect from the menu. If prompted to configure a new site, answer Yes
Click Next until prompted for the Server address or Name, enter vpn.felician.edu
Leave the Authentication Method as Username and Password, then click Next
Click Finish once the process completes
Connecting to the VPN
With the site successfully added the next step is to connect to the VPN.
Click the lock icon, then select Connect from the menu
Enter your Felician Username (your full email address) and Password, then click Connect

Once you have finished with your work, remember to disconnect from the VPN client by right clicking the icon from Step 1 and disconnecting. |
Connecting to your work computer
Once connected, you’ll be able to remotely connect to your office computer as though you were actively working in front of it. To get started:
Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the app store, open the app
In the main screen, click the + icon, then click Desktop
Enter your computer name (likely USERNAME-W10), then your Felician email username and password
Click Save, then double click the connection to begin
