This article will help guide you through setting up remote access to your Felician office computer.

The VPN will be completely replacing the terminal servers in the (very) near future.

Using the Felician VPN software will allow you to set up a network connection to the campus network in a secure and simplified manner.

Once configured and connected, your network connection will effectively function as if you were working from on-campus. This means internal resources such as the Datatel links can function from your personal computer, and that you will also be able to connect to your work computer without needing to use the terminal server.

FAQ

Below are some quick answers for the most commonly asked questions.

Who can use the Felician VPN?

The VPN is intended for employees - access is granted by request on a per-user basis.

When do I need to use the VPN?

Use the VPN when you need to access your office computer from off campus, such as your home.

You do not need to connect to the VPN to access your email, use Office 365, Zoom, or Brightspace.

Getting started

There are just a few steps to using the VPN.

Please submit an access request to the Felician University helpdesk to get started. Once we grant you access, you will need to install the VPN software on the computer you intend to use while off campus.
