This article will help guide you through setting up remote access to your Felician office computer.
The VPN will be completely replacing the terminal servers in the (very) near future.
Using the Felician VPN will allow you to set up a network connection to the campus network in a secure and simplified manner. Once configured and connected, your network connection will effectively function as if you were working from on-campus. This means internal resources such as the Datatel links can function from your personal computer, and that you will also be able to connect to your work computer without needing to use the terminal server first.
Enabling access on your office computer
For this part, please reach out to the Felician Helpdesk when you are in office and we can set it up for you.

Make sure to leave your office computer powered on when you intend to connect remotely!
If you want to simply pick up where you left off, consider just Locking your computer instead of Logging Out when you leave.
Installing the VPN client on your personal/off-site computer
Using the Felician VPN will allow you to set up a secure network connection to one of our campuses.
Once configured and connected, your internet traffic will flow through Felician and effectively function as if you were working from on-campus. This enables easy and secure remote access to your office computer.
Remember, once connected, you are on our network!
If you would not browse or otherwise do something at work, you should not do it while connected to the VPN. When finished, make sure to disconnect from the VPN.
