Connecting ODBC to Microsoft Access
Open the Control Panel from Start Menu.
Click on System and Security.
Click on Administrative Tools.
Search for ODBC Data Sources (64-bit) and double-click on the file.
If “Datatel” does not appear in the list, click on the Add button.
Click on SQL Server followed by Finish.
Enter the following items for each field:
Name: datatel
Description: datatel
Server: dt-cdbsvr
Click on Next once you have entered all the fields.
Leave the configuration as is and click on Next.
Check off the Change the default database to option and select coll18_production1. Uncheck the Change the default database to option again and click on Next.
Leave the configuration as is and click on Finish.
Restart your computer and open Microsoft Access.
