Connecting on Windows
This article will guide you through connecting to the Felician wireless when using a Windows device.
Connecting to FEL-ADMIN or FEL-STUDENT
In the bottom right corner of the screen, near the clock, right-click on the Network icon and select Open Network & Internet settings
In the window that pops up, click Network and Sharing Center. The link is near the bottom and you may need to scroll down.
In the window that pops up, click Set up a new connection or network
In the window that pops up, select Manually connect to a wireless network
Set Network name to either FC-ADMIN or FC-STUDENT, dependent on whether you’re an employee or student. Next, set Security type to WPA2-Enterprise
When prompted, click Change connection settings
In the window that pops up, click the Security tab, then click the Settings button near the authentication method drop-down
In the window that pops up, uncheck the Verify the server’s identity by validating the certificate. This may be named differently (like Validate server CA certificate) in older versions of Windows.
On the same window, near the bottom, click the Configure… button
Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any)
Click OK on all open windows, then try connecting to the appropriate network
Your Username will be your full email address.
(username@felician.edu or username@students.felician.edu).
Connecting to FC-GUEST
This network is restricted and only useful for basic internet functionality. If you are an employee or student, you should prefer to use FEL-ADMIN or FEL-STUDENT respectively.
Select FEL-GUEST out of the list of wireless networks
Try to browse the web and navigate to a website, you should be redirected to a login portal
When prompted, enter the following credentials
