New VPN update
The Checkpoint VPN and Multi-Factor Authentication upgrade has been successfully completed. Two imperative changes are necessary for the VPN software installed on your computer.
Instructions
Employees that do not have the minimum required version will need to upgrade their software.
To check your version, right-click on the CheckPoint icon in the Windows systray.
Select “Help” , then “About”.
See example –
Minimum versions:
Endpoint Security Client for Windows - version E84.70 build 986102705 or higher
Endpoint Security Client for macOS - version E85.30 or higher
If you meet the minimum requirements, you can skip to step # 2
a. The link to download the software is here:
b. After downloading the software, click “open” to install the new software.
2. After the installation, we will need to delete the old connection, then create a new one.
a. Steps are:
i. Open the CheckPoint VPN program.
ii. Delete the existing connection, vpn.felician.edu
iii. Create a new VPN connection called “vpn.felician.edu”
iv. Set the authentication type to Azure
v. Click “Finish”
b. After the new connection is created, click “connect” to test.
c. You will be prompted for the standard Felician MFA logon screen.
You should see the following screen when successfully connected:
